Experience Food, Entertainment, and Art at Hibiya OKUROJI: BS Nobrock Product Exhibition & Oku Project Exhibition 2026 Oku

Experience Food, Entertainment, and Art at Hibiya OKUROJI

Two events where you can enjoy “Food, Entertainment, and Art” will be held at Hibiya OKUROJI from August to September 2026. One is a pop-up event for the YouTube channel “BS Nobrock ~Shinbashi HeroHero-dan~,” and the other is a solo exhibition by the interdisciplinary unit “Oku Project.” Both offer distinct ways to spend an afternoon or evening in Tokyo, whether you’re a longtime fan of the channel or curious about contemporary collaborative art.

The first event, “BS Nobrock Product Exhibition,” brings the world of the popular sub-channel into physical space. The second, “Oku Project Exhibition 2026 Oku,” marks the unit’s first solo exhibition in five years and explores depth and absence through new collaborative works. Across genres and formats, these events turn Hibiya OKUROJI into a venue for both trending content and fresh artistic perspectives.

“BS Nobrock Product Exhibition”

“BS Nobrock ~Shinbashi HeroHero-dan~” began as a sub-channel of “Nobuyuki Sakuma’s NOBROCK TV,” which currently has over 3.27 million subscribers. The sub-channel has since grown to over 520,000 subscribers and more than 160 million total views, establishing an influence distinct from its parent. Its first pop-up event, “BS Nobrock Product Exhibition,” will run from Wednesday, August 26, 2026 to Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at Hibiya OKUROJI Area H05.

What makes this channel unique is that, despite being a sub-channel, the staff members appear as the main cast. This dynamic has fostered an intensely loyal fanbase and led to what the organizers describe as “sell-out legends”: shops featured in videos have been flooded with reservations, sometimes resulting in months-long wait times, and products have become unavailable for preorder on e-commerce sites. The channel has grown into a significant presence independent of the main channel.

At the product exhibition, visitors can purchase specialty items from all over the country that members of the “HeroHero-dan,” including Producer Nobuyuki Sakuma (Sakuma P), have introduced in videos. The event also includes original exhibition-limited goods and photo spots, offering a realistic way to step into the channel’s world.

Highlights of the “BS Nobrock Product Exhibition”

  1. The first pop-up event for BS Nobrock
This marks the first real-world event for the channel, which has primarily operated on YouTube.

  2. Purchase trending specialty items from YouTube in real life
Delicious items and intriguing products from across the country, introduced by Sakuma P and the HeroHero-dan members, will be gathered at the venue. Popular products that are consistently sold out at stores nationwide can be bought here. In addition, “Frozen Grilled Mackerel Sushi”—a hot topic in the videos—will be developed and sold as an original product of the channel.

  3. Release of “Tateno-style” & “Maekawa-style” hot dogs
Hot dogs based on the recipes of Saki Tateno and Director Maekawa were born in the videos, and many viewers requested their release. Both versions will now be reproduced and sold as a comparison set, allowing you to taste both flavors side by side.

  4. Watanabe from Nishikigoi appointed as Product Exhibition Ambassador!?
Planning is underway for a project inspired by Watanabe from Nishikigoi, who campaigned on the channel to become the Product Exhibition Ambassador. The “illegal stickers” that stood out during the talk will be sold as exhibition-limited goods.

  5. Sale of exhibition-limited original goods
Venue-exclusive original goods will feature themes typical of BS Nobrock, such as “drinking at home,” “the joy of middle-aged men,” and “jokes only viewers would understand.” The lineup includes original T-shirts and sticker sets, among other items. Further details will be announced on the channel and SNS.

“Oku Project Exhibition 2026 Oku”

Oku Project is a unit of three individuals working in different fields, including graphics, interior design, contemporary art, and theater. The group takes its name from the artistic practice of “oku” (to place), and through that practice, members have performed improvised collaborations with a wide range of participants.

This exhibition is the unit’s first solo show in five years. While inheriting elements of collaboration from “oku” (placing), the project has been reinterpreted as “Oku” (depth/inner), using “eyes,” “distance,” and “absence” as keywords. The concept is tied to a simple observation: as soon as you arrive, that place becomes the foreground, meaning “Oku” is always recognized as one’s own absence.

In this exhibition, two members will be involved in each of the three new works, creating a situation where one member is always absent. This process weaves a multilayered “Oku” into the space, offering a way for creators from different disciplines to explore the possibilities of multilateral collaboration.

A talk event and reception will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026:

  • Talk: 18:30–19:30, “Theme: Creating by Gathering”
  • Reception: 19:30–, guest: Arisa Nakayama (euglena) / Artist

The exhibition runs from Friday, September 4, 2026 to Sunday, September 13, 2026 at Hibiya OKUROJI Areas G13 and G14. Hours are 13:00–20:00, except on September 4, when hours are 17:00–20:00.

What is Hibiya OKUROJI?

Hibiya OKUROJI is a commercial and cultural complex in Tokyo, built into the brick arches of a railway viaduct between Hibiya and Yūrakuchō stations. The name combines Hibiya with okuroji, a Japanese term for a back alley or tucked-away passage. The complex opened in 2020 after the arch spaces were converted for commercial use.

It contains a range of restaurants, bars, shops, and galleries, along with event spaces used for exhibitions and performances. Restaurants occupy a large part of the complex, and the retail tenants tend to be small and independent. The brick arches set it apart from newer construction, and the narrow passages give it the character of a back street rather than a conventional shopping center. It is close to major station lines and the Imperial Palace, drawing both regular commuters and tourists.
