Mundo Pixar Experience: Pixar World Touring Exhibition – Taiwan Stop
“Mundo Pixar Experience” is the largest Pixar immersive experience exhibition in the world, and its touring production now makes its way to Taiwan. The exhibition is created with exquisite 1:1 scale real-life scenes, bringing classic animation settings from Toy Story, Up, Monsters, Inc., and many other films into reality. The exhibition area further meticulously combines surrounding classic soundtracks and specially formulated scents to create an all-around feast for the five senses. Audiences will break the boundaries of the screen and, as if transforming into movie characters, personally step into the fantasy universe of Pixar to experience an unprecedented immersive journey blending extreme visuals, spatial design, and multiple senses.
For anyone who has ever wondered what it would be like to stand inside a favorite film, this is the closest thing to stepping through the screen itself. Each room is constructed at a scale that places visitors at the center of the story, surrounded by details that reward careful looking and make the familiar worlds of Pixar feel genuinely tangible.
Step into the Worlds of Pixar
✶Toy Story
Step into Andy’s room and see what funny things happen when the toys come to life! Join Woody, Buzz, and friends to embark on a playful adventure where imagination is endless. Recreated at a scale that puts you right among the toys, the room captures the energy of that first moment the group springs into action, making visitors feel like the newest additions to Andy’s collection.
✶Monsters, Inc.
Enter Monstropolis and open the door to laughter! Pass through the floors of the Scare Floor and explore how Mike and Sulley transform screams into laughter. The walkthrough brings the workings of the factory to life, from the bustling energy of the scare floor to the spirit of the laughter that eventually powered the city, with each doorway leading deeper into a world where joy turned out to be far stronger than fear.
✶Inside Out
Travel through Riley’s brain and meet Joy, Sadness, Fear, Anger, and Disgust. Explore this vibrant emotional world that shapes one’s self. The larger-than-life environment makes abstract emotions feel tangible and playful, a vivid reminder that every feeling—even the messy ones—has an important role to play in who we become.
✶Finding Nemo
Dive beneath the shimmering waves and explore the Great Barrier Reef with Nemo, Marlin, and Dory. Every corner is filled with color, friendship, and the wonders of the ocean. Combined with the exhibition’s carefully crafted scents and soundscapes, the underwater world feels fully alive, from the gentle drift of the current to the bustling life of the reef, capturing the bond between a father and son on a journey across the sea.
✶Coco
From the bustling streets of Santa Cecilia to the breathtaking Land of the Dead. Feel the rhythm interwoven with music, family, and memories; Miguel and Héctor will remind us: love and remembrance allow stories to be passed down through generations. The rooms pulse with the color and sound of the film’s Mexican celebration, transforming a story about loss into a heartfelt tribute to those who live on through the people who remember them.
✶Cars
Start your engines and drive along Route 66 toward Radiator Springs! Meet Lightning McQueen at the service station filled with color, speed, and friendship. The experience captures the warmth and charm of the open road, where every vehicle has a personality and every stop is a chance to make a new friend, all set against the unmistakable glow of the desert highway.

What is the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center?
Kaohsiung Exhibition Center is a multipurpose venue on the city’s harborfront in southern Taiwan. Its curved roof, shaped to suggest waves, references the surrounding port and is one of the more visible results of Kaohsiung’s recent waterfront redevelopment. The building is used for trade shows, conferences, and public events, with large column-free halls, adaptable floor space, and standard modern staging and audiovisual systems. For a touring exhibition such as Mundo Pixar, the practical advantages are straightforward: enough room for sizable installations, dependable infrastructure, and convenient access for visitors arriving by metro, light rail, or ferry. The center is next to the Pier-2 Art Center, a former warehouse district turned creative park, and a short ferry ride from Cijin Island, so visitors can combine the show with other stops. For the 2026–2027 run of Mundo Pixar, it offers the necessary space and logistics without making the visit more complicated than it needs to be.
