Dream Park Chrysanthemum Festival
🗓️ 2026.10.16 ~ 2026.10.25
From October 16 to 25, 2026, the Dream Park Wildflower Complex in Incheon becomes a large-scale canvas of autumn color. The Dream Park Chrysanthemum Festival brings together sweeping flower beds, creative exhibitions, live performances, and hands-on programs, all set within a landscape of native wildflowers and seasonal plantings. Organized by local residents, the event is designed to create happy memories that everyone can enjoy together — and admission is free.
What sets this festival apart from a typical chrysanthemum show is its setting and scope. Instead of limiting the palette to chrysanthemums alone, the festival makes use of the Wildflower Complex’s natural strengths, pairing mums with a wide range of autumn herbaceous plants. The result is a walking route through layered colors and textures: sunflowers, pink muhly, zinnia, yellow cosmos, purple fountain grass, gaura, and marigolds, among others. These are arranged into both large-scale beds and more detailed exhibition works, including chrysanthemum bonsai, topiary, and sculptures.
Large-scale Flower Beds
The flower beds are the heart of the festival, spread across the complex in two main forms:
- Autumn flower beds featuring yellow cosmos, garden mums, purple fountain grass, marigolds, pink muhly, and other seasonal favorites
- Vast seasonal flower beds planted with sunflowers, pink muhly, purple fountain grass, gaura, sasanqua, yellow cosmos, zinnia, and more
In addition to the open beds, visitors can see a range of exhibition works created from autumn herbaceous plants, including topiary pieces and chrysanthemum bonsai. These installations are spread through the complex, offering plenty of photo zones for those looking to capture the season.
Cultural Events (Side Programs)
The festival is not just about flowers. A lineup of cultural events adds music, comedy, and entertainment for visitors of all ages:
- Dream Park Autumn Concert – congratulatory performances by local art groups, plus magic shows and other special acts
- Comedian Son Heon-soo’s Dream Park Audition – a live audition-style program that brings a playful, interactive energy to the festival
These performances give the event a lively atmosphere beyond the gardens, with local performers taking the stage throughout the festival period.
Experience Programs (Consumer Participation Programs)
For those who want to do more than look, the festival offers a range of hands-on activities. These include environmental education programs, invitation events for local residents and children, and crafting sessions using coffee ground clay. The programs are designed to be accessible, making the festival a good choice for families and groups with different interests.
A local residents’ food market is also operated on-site, providing a chance to taste food prepared by people from the surrounding community while taking a break from walking the grounds.

The park is open throughout the year and is commonly used for picnics, exercise, and seasonal walks. Its paths connect different sections of the grounds, with benches and open areas that allow visitors to move at their own pace.
Each autumn, the park hosts the annual Chrysanthemum Festival. The event centers on large flower displays and art installations arranged across the park, alongside cultural performances that are free to attend. It has become a regular draw for visitors from other parts of the country, and the festival period is one of the busiest times of the year for the park.
