The Spaces

Visitors will encounter cherry blossoms in two distinct artwork spaces:

Floating in the Falling Universe of Flowers: This exhibit, typically showcasing a year’s worth of flowers blooming and scattering over time, will be entirely dedicated to cherry blossoms during the spring exhibition.

Drawing on the Water Surface Created by the Dance of Koi and People – Infinity: In this interactive installation, where visitors walk barefoot through water, koi fish swim and react to human presence. During the spring event, any koi that collide with visitors will transform into scattered cherry blossoms.

What is the Tokyo Game Show?

The Tokyo Game Show (TGS) is a major annual video game expo held in Chiba, Japan, near Tokyo. Since 1996, it has been a key event for the gaming industry, highlighting new developments in video games, hardware, and technology. Organized by the Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association (CESA) and Nikkei Business Publications, TGS offers a platform for both Japanese and international developers to showcase their upcoming projects.

TGS features a wide range of exhibitors, from major game publishers to indie developers and tech companies. The event lasts four days, with the first two days dedicated to industry professionals and media, and the last two open to the public. Attendees can try out demos, attend panel discussions, and see new announcements.

Beyond gaming, TGS includes cosplay events, merchandise stalls, and eSports competitions, making it a cultural event as well. It provides a space for fans and industry professionals to connect, explore trends, and enjoy the gaming world.
