This beloved festival honors the legacy of General Gang Gam-chan, a revered hero of the Goryeo Dynasty. Since 2016, the festival has brought the local community together in a celebration of Korean heritage, merging the Gwanaksan Royal Azalea Festival (established 1998) and the Nakseongdae Memorial Service (established 1988).
