Collection Exhibition —From Spring to Autumn—
A new exhibition at the Yamazaki Mazak Museum of Art brings together paintings by French artists who were active from the 18th to the 20th centuries. The works on display span a wide range of styles, from masters of Rococo art such as Watteau, Boucher, and Fragonard, to Neoclassicism’s Ingres, Romanticism’s Delacroix, Realism, Impressionism, and the École de Paris.
In addition to paintings, the exhibition will also feature Art Nouveau style crafts, including glass vases and furniture by Émile Gallé, an artist influenced by Japonism.
