A New Year’s Twist on Discovery
Experience the "Living Creature Discovery" program like never before! Aquarium staff will share captivating insights into the animals’ natural behaviors and their interactions with humans. Witness the awe-inspiring jumps of Arowana and Dorado, symbols of wealth and prosperity, against a backdrop of traditional "Kadomatsu" decorations. Enjoy sea lion training with festive New Year’s props and watch playful otters interact with "Omikuji" (fortune slip) feeders. Prepare for unexpected delights – you never know what will happen next!
Exclusive Backstage Tour and "Pochi" Bag Surprise
Join the Exploration Guided Tour for an exclusive peek behind the scenes of Sunshine Aquarium. Led by expert staff, this tour grants access to areas normally off-limits to the public. As a special New Year’s treat, each tour participant will receive a "Pochi" bag containing a unique "Otoshi Dama" (gift) from the aquarium animals. Will you receive a lucky "Ray tooth," love-filled "Penguin feather," or a piece of fur from the popular and intelligent sea lions? It’s a surprise until you open your bag!
