Minato Acrus 2024 Winter Art Event: Add Your Smile to the Smile Tree Project in Nagoya!

Light Up the Night with Smiles at Minato Acrus 2024 Winter Art Event! ✨

Get ready to experience the magic of the Minato Acrus 2024 Winter Art Event ~Smile Tree Project~! From December 17th, 2024 to January 13th, 2025, the Canal Walk in front of Lalaport Nagoya Minato Acrus’ south entrance will be transformed into a heartwarming spectacle of light and smiles. This year’s event builds upon the success of last year’s "Fruits of Light" display, adding even more sparkle with colorful LED balls adorning the canal embankment.

What makes this event truly special? You do! Artist Kyota Takahashi’s "Fruits of Light" installation features luminous creations made by participants. By drawing smiles on fruit bags, inserting LED lights, and inflating them, you can contribute your own unique beacon of joy to the display. These glowing smiles, crafted by local children, Minato Acrus residents, and visitors alike, will illuminate the waterside trees, creating a truly unforgettable winter nightscape.
