Dance the Night Away at the Dancing Nowon Street Festival

Get ready to groove! The Dancing Nowon Street Festival returns to Seoul from September 28th to 29th, 2024, transforming Nowon-gu into a vibrant hub of rhythm and movement. Formerly known as the Nowon Mask Dance Festival (established in 2013), this dynamic event was rebranded as the Dancing Nowon Street Festival in 2023, and this year marks its exciting second anniversary!

Located on Nohae-ro street, conveniently near Nowon Station on Subway Line 7, this free, community-focused festival invites everyone to participate and celebrate the joy of dance. From electrifying competitions to captivating performances and interactive experiences, there’s something for everyone at Dancing Nowon.

Festival Highlights:

This year’s festival boasts a diverse program featuring:

  • Citizen Competitions: Showcase your talent in the exhilarating Dancing Parade, the high-energy Dancing Festa/B-ON-TOP, the All-Genre Battle, and the Breaking Battle.
  • Captivating Performances: Enjoy a wide range of performances, including local resident choruses, flash mobs, dynamic street performances, special opening and closing invited performances, and delightful children’s performances.
    • Opening Performance: Saturday, September 28th, 7:00 PM
    • Closing Performance: Sunday, September 29th, 7:00 PM
  • Interactive Experiences: Engage with the festival through the Children’s Dance Club, explore the Brand Fair, discover exciting Play Experiences, and unwind in the Healing Rest Area.
