Both lectures start at 2:00 PM (doors open at 1:30 PM) in the Osaka Nakanoshima Museum of Art’s 1st Floor Hall. Seating is limited to 150 people on a first-come, first-served basis (no prior application needed). Don’t forget your exhibition ticket (used stubs are acceptable).

Who was Utagawa Kuniyoshi?

Utagawa Kuniyoshi was a renowned Japanese ukiyo-e artist, active during the late Edo period. Born in 1797 in Edo (modern-day Tokyo), he is celebrated for his dynamic and imaginative woodblock prints that encompass a wide range of themes, including historical tales, kabuki actors, landscapes, and mythical creatures.
