Monster Hunter 20th Anniversary – Grand Hunting Exhibition – Osaka
From February 20th (Thursday) to April 5th (Saturday), 2025, the Grand Front Osaka will host the "Monster Hunter 20th Anniversary – Grand Hunting Exhibition," a comprehensive event celebrating two decades of Capcom’s beloved Monster Hunter game series. This exhibition, a follow-up to a previous showing in Tokyo, promises an immersive experience into the world of Monster Hunter, brought to life through a variety of engaging exhibits and interactive displays.
An Immersive Experience
The exhibition, a collaborative effort between Tohoku Shinsha Co., Ltd. and Capcom, is designed to fully immerse visitors in the Monster Hunter universe. Several key attractions are set to be featured:
- Anniversary Theater: A dedicated space likely showcasing the history and evolution of the Monster Hunter franchise.
- Weapon Projection: An opportunity to view the impressive arsenal of the game, perhaps through detailed projections.
- Armor Interactive: This exhibit suggests an interactive element, allowing visitors to engage with the iconic armor sets from the series.
- Monster Encyclopedia AR Experience: An augmented reality experience that brings the creatures of Monster Hunter to life, allowing for a unique and interactive way to learn about the game’s diverse bestiary.
- Fatalis Attack: An exhibit centered around Fatalis, one of the most formidable monsters in the Monster Hunter universe.

Osaka-Exclusive Content
While the exhibition builds upon the foundation of its Tokyo predecessor, the Osaka event will feature several unique elements:
- Expanded Monster Encyclopedia AR Experience: The core AR experience will be updated to include additional popular monsters, providing a more comprehensive look at the game’s creatures.
- "Monster Hunter Wilds" Showcase: The exhibition will feature the first-ever display of the newly created "Life-Sized Hunter Figure" and "Great Sword Hope Blade" from the upcoming Monster Hunter Wilds game.
- Refreshed Collaboration Cafe Items: The collaboration cafe will feature an entirely new menu.
- Osaka-Limited Goods: Exclusive merchandise will be available for purchase, providing unique souvenirs for attendees.
It is important to note that the life-sized Odachi "Kitsunegatana Kakaru Kumonaki" and the "Secret Life-Sized Figure" displayed in Tokyo will not be present at the Osaka exhibition. Furthermore, all exhibit contents are subject to change.
