The gustatory delights awaiting discovery are not limited to simple puddings, however.

A special addition has been made to the usual lineup: a Nagoya store-limited pudding parfait, originating from a completely members-only and undisclosed-address parfait bar that spans six locations nationwide, will be available for visitors to enjoy. To add an element of continuous novelty, the lineup will undergo changes between the first and second halves of the event period, offering a full thirteen days during which a diverse range of taste comparisons can be savored, whether at the venue itself or within the comfort of one’s home.

At Konica Minolta Planetarium, however, you can immerse yourself in the feeling of being surrounded by cherry blossoms in full bloom, all within the comfortable, climate-controlled dome, and without concern for weather conditions or pollen.

The Annual "Cherry Blossom Welcome Dome" Event

The "Welcome Dome" is a brief intermission video shown as customers enter the planetarium dome. The content changes seasonally, and the Cherry Blossom Welcome Dome, first introduced in 2021, has become an annual favorite.

During the Welcome Dome show, photography is permitted. Visitors can enjoy viewing and photographing the projected cherry blossoms while relaxing in premium seats, which allow for lying down, or in regular seats equipped with reclining features. ◆ About "Chi. -About the Movement of the Earth-"

Originally serialized in Shogakukan’s "Weekly Big Comic Spirits" from September 2020 to April 2022, this fictional work, set in 15th-century Europe, portrays the struggles and sacrifices of individuals dedicated to exploring the then-controversial theory of heliocentrism. Created by manga artist "Uotoyo", the manga has garnered widespread acclaim, winning the 26th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize Manga Grand Prize, among other awards. With over 3.5 million copies in print, the story’s popularity has led to an anime adaptation, which has been broadcasting on NHK General TV since October 2024.
