In our era of rapid urbanization, cities transform at a dizzying pace. Familiar landmarks disappear, replaced by new structures that rise with astonishing speed. The competition welcomes submissions from university students currently enrolled in (or on leave of absence from) a relevant design program:

• Challenge Class: 4th and 5th year students in a 4-year or 5-year university program in urban planning, architecture, landscape architecture, or design.
• Novice Class: Students enrolled in a relevant program at a junior college, or 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year students in a relevant 4-year or 5-year university program.

For group submissions, the highest grade level among the participants will determine eligibility.
