Do you dream of cycling along the beautiful East Coast of Korea, all the way to the DMZ? Here’s your chance!

The Ministry of Unification invites you to join the "Bike to the DMZ! East Coast Cross-Country Cycling Challenge."

■ Who are we looking for?

  • Young Koreans aged 19-34 (born between June 18, 1989 and June 17, 2005)
  • Passionate about cycling and physically fit to complete a cross-country journey
  • Interested in unification and eager to promote peace and understanding
  • Enthusiastic team players ready to make memories and forge new friendships
  • Comfortable with being filmed throughout the journey
  • Active on social media (YouTube, Instagram, blogs, etc.)
  • Bonus points for talents in photography, videography, singing, dancing, first aid, sports massage, or other areas!

    • Taxes are the responsibility of the winner. For team submissions, the prize will be given to the representative (director).

Calling all innovators! Do you have a creative idea to tackle social issues using public diplomacy data? The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea invites you to participate in the 2024 Public Diplomacy Data Utilization Competition.

Who can participate?

Anyone in Korea with an interest in public diplomacy data can participate individually or in teams of up to 4 members. However, each participant or team can submit only one entry. Please note that using pre-existing ideas that have won awards in other startup competitions or infringing on copyrights will result in disqualification.

What are the categories?

This competition focuses on innovative ideas that utilize public diplomacy data to address social issues. You can use any data available on public data portals, including:

  • Ministry of Foreign Affairs
  • Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA)
  • Korea Foundation (KF)
  • Korea-Africa Foundation
