The 18th annual SanSuYu Village Flower Festival — a spring-welcoming event — will be held in Gyeongsangbuk-do’s representative cornelian cherry colony. Visitors who come to see the yellow cornelian cherries in full bloom will be greeted with joyful performances unique to Uiseong, in addition to a variety of hands-on experiences.

The flavors of Uiseong can be tasted at the local food market, prepared by the villagers, and at the Uiseong agricultural and specialty product sales zone. The 30 photo zones spread throughout the cornelian cherry walking trail will provide ample opportunity to make memories with both spring and cornelian cherries. Souvenirs can also be received by completing the stamp tour along the cornelian cherry walking trail.

The festival’s programs are organized into six categories:
