Since its inception in 2016, the Shinagawa Illuminations have dazzled over 90,000 visitors. This year’s theme, "Sea Breeze," promises an even more enchanting experience.
Your journey begins at the Grand Staircase, the entrance to Shinagawa Season Terrace. A cascade of blue light, evoking the vast expanse of the ocean, sets the stage for a magical evening. Ascend the stairs and emerge into the atrium, where a panoramic view of the night sky awaits.
The plaza’s illuminated trees shower crystal laser light onto the Canal waterscape below, creating a mesmerizing interplay of light and water. Flows of light mimic the gentle sea breeze, adding another layer of wonder to this captivating spectacle.
New this year is the integration of XR (Cross Reality) technology. Blend the real and virtual worlds through your smartphone, unlocking a fantastical digital dimension within the illuminations.
