After a five-year hiatus, Japan’s largest performing arts festival is back, bringing a vibrant mix of theater, comedy, dance, circus acts, music, singing, spoken word, and exhibitions to the streets of Osaka. From October 17th to November 18th, the city, particularly the Minami area, will transform into a stage, showcasing talent from both seasoned professionals and aspiring amateurs, from Japan and across the globe.
Forget traditional venues! This year’s Fringe Festival spills out of theaters and concert halls, popping up in unexpected locations like bars, parks, and even bus stops. Prepare to be captivated by “first-class performing arts” that will ignite your emotions and spark your imagination.
