Day 1: Friday, October 25th – A Deep Dive into Literature
Kick off the festival with thought-provoking discussions and inspiring encounters at the Goyang Aramnuri and Hwajeong Libraries:
- Goyang Reading Forum (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Goyang Aramnuri Library): Join experts for a dynamic exploration of how local reading initiatives are adapting to our ever-changing world. The forum focuses on "Direction of Local Government’s Reading Policy in Response to Social Change."
- Meet Author Cha In-pyo (2:00 PM – 3:30 PM, Goyang Aramnuri Library): Engage with Cha In-pyo, the acclaimed author of "Someday, If We Look at the Same Star," in an intimate lecture setting.
- Goyang Author Choi In-hun Underlining Festival (6:30 PM – 8:30 PM, Goyang Hwajeong Library): Share your love for literature and discuss the works cherished by renowned author Choi In-hun in this communal reading experience.
Day 2: Saturday, October 26th – Lakeside Literary Fun
Head over to Ilsan Lake Park Hanul Plaza from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM for a day packed with outdoor activities:

- Book Market: Browse a diverse selection of books from 10 different bookstores and publishers.
- Lakeside Outdoor Library: Relax by the water and immerse yourself in a good book.
- Interactive Experience Booths: Unleash your creativity by drawing cartoon characters with talented garden cartoonists and participate in other exciting activities.
- Entertaining Events: Enjoy reading entertainment and create your own DIY paper house.
- Special Exhibition: Explore the "Library Connected by Exhibition – Story Tree" in collaboration with the Goyang Office of Education.
