Held annually in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province since 1999, BIAF has become a cornerstone of the animation world. In 2017, it achieved a remarkable milestone, becoming Korea’s first Academy Award-qualifying international animation film festival. This year, BIAF celebrates its 26th anniversary with a stunning lineup of 122 films from 34 countries, many making their Korean debut. Kicking off the festivities is the Korean animated feature film, Letter from Yeon.
