What is Tokyo Skytree?

Get Ready for Halloween Fun: 40th Annual Pumpkin Parade in Harajuku!

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Harajuku Omotesando Hello Halloween Pumpkin Parade – Japan’s very first Halloween costume parade! Imagine over 1,000 costumed kids parading down a kilometer stretch of Harajuku Omotesando. It’s not just a parade; it’s a town-wide Halloween celebration! Participating shops offer special Halloween treats and goodies, creating a spooktacular atmosphere for everyone.

What Awaits You?

• Pumpkin Parade: Kids 12 and under (elementary school age) can strut their stuff in their favorite costumes alongside their guardians. Omotesando will be closed to traffic, giving the little ones free rein.
• Candy Rally: Participating shops around Omotesando will be hosting a sweet treat treasure hunt – don’t miss out!
• Halloween Booths (planned): Get ready for some fun and games at the planned Halloween booths designed just for kids.
• Halloween Lottery: Spend ¥1,000 at participating shops or restaurants between October 1st and parade day, and you’ll snag a lottery ticket (limit 3 tickets per person). Head over to Machikado Garden to try your luck!
• Special Halloween Menus: From early October to the 31st (depending on the store), participating stores will offer special Halloween-themed menus and services.
