Pre-event: Witness the grandeur of the Daejeon Citizen’s Chwitadae, a national intangible cultural heritage! This majestic march, traditionally performed for royal processions and victorious armies, sets the stage for an unforgettable evening.

Main Event:
- Unseong (Cloud Sound): Roar of the Drums: Prepare to be swept away by the thunderous power of drums! This performance features a captivating blend of Daebuk (large drum), Modeumbuk (ensemble drums), Pungmulbuk (farmers’ music drum), and Western percussion instruments.
- Pungnoe (Wind and Thunder): Dance of the Wind: Experience the dynamism of Daejeon through a mesmerizing fusion of music and dance. Korean fusion group ‘Granada’, Daejeon’s promotional ambassadors, join forces with modern dancers, ballet performers, and metal instrumentalists to evoke the sounds of nature. The Kkwaenggwari (metal instrument) embodies thunder and lightning, the Jing (gong) represents the wind, and the performance culminates in a harmonious blend of Gayageum, Daegeum, and Haegeum melodies interwoven with traditional Korean dance.
- Fusion Group ‘Granada’: Enjoy a dedicated performance by ‘Granada’, showcasing their unique blend of Korean and contemporary music.
Day 2: Wednesday, October 9th (7 PM)

- Useong (Rain Sound): A Feast of Janggu: Immerse yourself in the rhythmic beauty of rain as talented Janggu drummers of all ages create a captivating soundscape. This harmonious performance brings together Daejeon’s Pungmul groups in a celebration of community and tradition.
- Yongmimu (Dragon Tail Dance): Be mesmerized by the dazzling movements of Chaesang (Korean traditional juggling). Performers adorned with Sangmo (headgear with a long ribbon) skillfully whirl and twirl, evoking the energy and splendor of a dragon’s dance.
- Cheonjijindong (Heaven and Earth Shake): Daejeon Nongak Pangut: Experience the full force of Daejeon’s Pungmul talent as performers of all generations unite in a vibrant display of Daedongnori (folk games).
