Since its inception in 2016, the Jeju Flounder Festival has become Korea’s premier event dedicated to this versatile fish. The festival aims to expand the culinary horizons of flounder beyond sashimi and sushi, introducing attendees to a diverse array of dishes, including flavorful fish cakes, spicy tteokbokki, and savory pajeon.
