As a Support Team member, you’ll play a crucial role in raising awareness about the conference and the importance of local news in Korea. This is your chance to gain valuable experience, network with industry professionals, and contribute to a vibrant future for local journalism.
Key Dates to Remember:
- Applications Open: August 9th, 2024
- Applications Close: September 6th, 2024
- Selection Announcement: September 10th, 2024 (3 PM KST)
- Mandatory Orientation & Training: September 21st, 2024 (2 PM KST) at the Korea Press Foundation
- Activity Period: September 21st, 2024 – November 16th, 2024
- Conference Date: November 8th, 2024 at EXCO, Daegu (3rd Floor)
Who Are We Looking For?
We encourage applications from university students (currently enrolled or on leave) who:
- Are passionate about media, journalism, and local news.
- Are active social media users (Instagram, blogs, etc.) or possess video editing skills.
- Are creative thinkers with innovative ideas to promote the conference.
- Are eager to learn, network, and contribute to the field of journalism.
What Will You Do?
- Create engaging content on provided topics and share it across social media platforms.
- Conduct research on local newspapers and collaborate with your team members.
- Attend the conference and share your experience in a post-event review.
- Submit a comprehensive activity report detailing your contributions.
