Since 2013, this unique eco-tourism festival has transformed the frozen Hantangang River in Cheorwon-gun, Gangwon-do, into a winter wonderland. Where else can you trek across a frozen river, surrounded by breathtaking basalt gorges and towering columnar joints? Explore the majestic Jiktang Falls (known as the "Niagara Falls of Korea"), discover the legends of Im Kkeokjeong at Goseokjeong, and witness the dramatic cliffs of Sundam Valley, a popular rafting destination.
