This year’s theme challenges you to design a visually stunning, flower-shaped kimchi dish perfect for special occasions. Incorporate the region’s renowned Gapyeong apples as the star ingredient, alongside other delightful Gapyeong agricultural products.
Here’s how you can participate:
- Develop your winning recipe: Let your imagination blossom and create a kimchi masterpiece that embodies the theme.
- Submit your application: Visit the official competition website at www.flowerkimchi.com (link to be updated with the official website once available) to access the application form and submit your recipe.
- Mark your calendar: The final competition will be held on Saturday, October 5th, amidst the vibrant beauty of the Namdo Flower Garden on Jarasum Island, Gapyeong.
Who can participate?
The competition welcomes anyone over the age of 20 with a passion for kimchi and culinary innovation.
Submission Period: August 12th (Monday) to September 9th (Monday)
