The National Institute of Ecology, dedicated to preserving biodiversity and creating a sustainable future, invites you to participate in the 2nd National Institute of Ecology 29-Second Film Festival.
Theme:
Choose one or both of the following:

- "Disappearing [ ]"
Tell us heartwarming stories about the diverse lifeforms that share our planet and the small steps we can take to protect our ecosystems for a sustainable future. Let your passion for nature shine through your 29-second masterpiece!
Submission Guidelines:
- Period: June 20th, 2024 (Thursday) ~ July 27th, 2024 (Saturday) 23:59 (KST)
- How to Submit: Online via the 29-Second Film Festival website ([www.29sfilm.com](file:///C:/Users/pcuser/AppData/Local/Temp/msohtmlclip1/01/clip%5Ffilelist.xml))
- Eligibility: Open to everyone (domestic and international)
- Note: Please submit your film 1-2 days before the deadline to avoid any unforeseen issues.
Video Specifications:
- Length: 29 seconds (excluding title and credits)
- Format: Landscape or portrait
- Resolution: 19201080(px) / 10801920(px)
- Frame Rate: 29.97fps or 24fps
- File Format: mp4, mov, mpg, avi, wmv, etc. (standard codec)
- File Size: Under 1GB
- Thumbnail: 575*323(px)
Judging and Awards:
- Evaluation: 20% netizen evaluation, 80% expert evaluation
- Netizen evaluation: Based on the total number of views, likes, and comments on the website (tallied until July 30th)
- Total Prize Money: ₩20,000,000
- Details of awards and prize money will be announced on the website before the awards ceremony.
- Taxes are the responsibility of the winner. For team submissions, the prize will be given to the representative (director).
- Awards Ceremony: To be announced
Other Information:
- There is no limit to the number of team members or submissions (multiple submissions are allowed).
- You are welcome to submit making-of films (NG videos, team promotional videos, etc.) in addition to your main submission.
- The final award winners will be announced at the awards ceremony.
- Submitted and awarded works may be used for promotional purposes by the organizers.
- Works that may negatively impact the image of the organizers will be excluded from judging.
