What is the Design Solution Lab?
This program connects young designers with businesses in need of design solutions. You’ll gain valuable experience, receive mentorship, and build your portfolio while making a real impact.
Who can apply?
- Residents of Gyeonggi-do or students (current, on leave, or graduated) from universities in the Gyeonggi-do area.
- Design majors (visual design, industrial design, universal art design, media, digital content, communication design, film, etc.)
- Non-design majors with a strong design portfolio and relevant experience.

- Program Period:
- Phase 1 (Mandatory): July 2024 – August 2024
- Phase 2 (Optional): Internship (2 weeks) – dates to be determined
- Program Activities:
- Attend two sessions per week at the Northern Gyeonggi Cultural Creation Hub (Uijeongbu-si).
- Work individually or in teams of two to solve design challenges for businesses.
- Participate in workshops, portfolio reviews, and mentoring sessions.
- Design Fields: Visual (branding, packaging), UX/UI, Advertising, Product, Content IP, Public Relations.

Important Notes:
- Proficiency in design software is required.
- Active participation throughout the program is mandatory.
- Attendance at orientation, presentations, and final reporting sessions is required.
- Internship and project opportunities are offered to top-performing participants.
